Description
Description
Welcome to Advanced Arches, a program designed to teach you all that you need to know in order to transform your Cartwheel into all sorts of Arching Moves, from Forwards Cartwheels to Reversaos, Helicopteros and Gumbis. And as always, you’ll receive plenty of variations and explorations to play with the learned content!
Arching can be a tough practice at first: it requires our bodies to open up in novel ways and requires strength in odd angles. I often have beginners in my workshops or coaching who want to learn cool moves like the Helicopter Cartwheel but lack understanding of fundamental arching mechanics. So for you to progress smoothly and without huge setbacks, this program will start with a huge section on getting the basics down GOOD before continuing to fancy patterns.
You'll be first introduced to more basic patterns and ideas that already allow plenty of exploration. Later, you'll apply all that you have learned in various scenarios: from sequences to open form tasks, technical studies and more.
Of course the material is presented in high quality video breakdowns, text and illustration. The PDF that you'll receive is beautifully designed, neatly organized and intuitive to use. You'll receive practice structures and plenty of tips not only for the what (content) but also the how (learning process).

I recently completed the Advanced Arches Program, and it was an outstanding experience. Nil is incredibly inventive, and this creativity had a profound influence on my learning experience. His unique perspective and innovative teaching methods make the course not only educational but also highly enjoyable.
The structure of the course is excellent, covering everything from warm-up exercises to advanced techniques. Nil's clear and detailed explanations made even the more challenging aspects of arching accessible and achievable. I particularly appreciated how his creative approach to progressions and techniques helped build confidence and improve my skills steadily.
What sets Nil apart from other instructors is his unique teaching style. Unlike many instructors who stick to conventional methods, Nil's approach is refreshingly innovative and personalized. He encourages students to explore movement in their own way, fostering creativity and self-expression. This not only makes the learning process more engaging but also helps students develop a deeper understanding of the techniques.
Overall, I highly recommend the Advanced Arches Program to anyone interested in developing and/or enhancing their arching moves arsenal (reversao, au de frente, helicoptero…and everything in between!). Nil's passion and creativity make this course a truly exceptional learning experience.
As always, Nil delivers a beautifully designed program with step-by-step progressions into the world of arching. I love how it's structured around different arching types, allowing you to see the connections between movements and how mastering one naturally supports the next. For example, you start with Reversoa and gradually progress into Heli. What makes this program stand out is that these moves aren't taught in isolation—you also learn how to integrate them and also learn different variations.
This program is a dream come true for any mover looking to master all the skills in the "arching world" of acrobatics. Reverso, gumbi, helicoptero, just to name a few!
It’s like having a super detailed, step-by-step manual in your pocket, but at the same time, the freedom to tweak and adapt everything to your own training style. Whether you're the structured, step-by-step type (like me) or more of a wild, creative experimenter, this program’s got you covered.
No matter your background (dance, martial arts, capoeira, bboying) I can’t recommend this arching encyclopedia enough!
With Nils permissive, playful yet qualitative approach he guides you in an embodying and kind of storytelling way which offers a great experience to a wide range of students with different levels and backgrounds.
What I also love about the advanced arching and macaco program is that the skills feels very broad with a wide utility and alot of substanstial material to take with you. There's alot of variations and integrations of the skills that you can already start to implement, create and express yourself with at same time as you're working towards specific goals or versions of the skill.
