Description

The Acrobatics Atelier is a place where you can dive deep into Creativity in Movement, find your inner Movement Artist and further develop your Acrobatic Practice. This program is so well rounded it could roll away..
In all seriousness, if you are interested in Acrobatics and already have some basics down, this Program is what you are looking for. I've put months of work into the creation and can honestly and confidently say, it is the best program I've created so far...
You'll be first introduced to more basic patterns and ideas that already allow plenty of exploration. Later, you'll apply all that you have learned in various scenarios: from sequences to open form tasks, technical studies and more.

The program is made up of three learning blocks which each allow for 8-10 weeks of practice: Inspiration, Transformation and Reinvention. All the blocks consist of six categories: Arching and Inverting Acrobatics, Rolls and Falls, Floormoves and Transitions, Airbornes and Kicks, Conditioning Tasks and Creative Studies. In every block, you'll receive new material for all categories.

Of course the material is presented in high quality video breakdowns, text and illustration. The PDF that you'll receive is beautifully designed, neatly organized and intuitive to use. You'll receive practice structures and plenty of tips not only for the what (content) but also the how (learning process).

This program also comes with 4 extra PDFs: one for each learning block with many more details about a clear practice template. Another one for the Skill Roadmaps: shorter practice-sprints to learn specific traits, moves or qualities.

Including 50+ Videos (over 9hrs of material) and short form Recap Videos to study while practicing.

FAQ

How long do I have access to the material and program?
-> You can keep the Program forever.

Are the videos downloadable?
-> All videos are uploaded as not-listed to YouTube, downloading is possible but not recommended.

What is the difference between the Atelier and the Lab?
-> The Lab focuses more on basic Acrobatic Patterns and the ways how these could be varied. The Atelier focuses more on creativity in motion, both in the skills and especially how they can be used to create transitions, sequences and "acrobatic paintings".

Are these follow-along type classes?
-> No, the programs offer great and in depth breakdown videos but not in follow-along style.

What experience do I need for this program?
-> The Acrobatics Atelier is not recommended for total beginners, better start with the Basics or Integrations program. It starts slow but then really goes deep - recommended for people with a basic understanding in acrobatics, floor practice and moving freely. Also recommended for dancers and other professionals wanting to improve their acrobatics.

This is pure movement wisdom

I must admit, this is pure wisdom condensed into a program that has so much value. If you want to learn to move your body, if you want to learn a couple of tricks but most importantly, if you want to be creative with your movements - this is your program. I love every bit of it! Nil has this ability to break down movements into bits and pieces, so it is approachable to the regular people. Dive into this program and enjoy. It's his best so far!

Amazing Program!

Every year, I'm excited for the new program from Nil. This time, we dive even deeper into the world of acrobatics, and creativity is also addressed. I had a great time exploring the various tasks. It's really well-suited for people who have been working with or practicing soft acrobatics for a longer time.

A well rounded continuation

As someone who has been training with nil before this plan has SO much value. The depth of the material and the well thought out structure of the program allows for an immersive practice. The plan is very dense and rich so there is a lot to explore and refine. Yet it becomes visible that nil has put lots of thought also into making the plan as user friendly as possible, especially through the addition of the mini plans.

Big recommendation, especially if you have learned some of the basic skills and want to go deeper!

Flipping Fantastic!

This acrobatics course is more than just an online program—it’s a work of art.
From the moment you start, you are greeted with beautifully designed content! All learning material is structured into progressive learning blocks. The pdf begins with an introduction to the program and foundational theories, then moves on to three learning blocks, with advanced acrobatics moves and combinations. Having taken numerous online courses, I have not yet seen another course that offers such advanced moves like B-twists and backflips in a safe and self-paced kind of way. The moves are also not in isolation but have variations for each and ways to combine them.
There are easily two years worth of practice here, and what I appreciate most is that the course is not just some pdf to impart knowledge but it is really created for the best user experience.
There is flexibility in how you can use it. Whether you prefer to follow the program step by step or, like me, mix and match, there is guidance on how to do both approaches.
