Intermediate Acrobatics Intensive in Munich
Level
The Acrobatics Intensives focus specifically on developing acrobatic skills, concepts, technique and proper physical conditioning. In contrast to open workshops, we’ll dive much deeper into the material and hence proficiency in rolling, cartwheeling, floor maneuvering is required. You’ll leave the event with a clear pathway to advanced acrobatic maneuvers, new creative tools and hopefully heaps of inspiration to level up your current practice.
What experience do I need to join this workshop?
-> For this workshop a good level of acro basics is needed. Be sure you can easily perform various cartwheels, rolls and understand how to move your body across the floor. You definitely do not need to be a professional mover though.
Will the workshop mainly focus on techniques or fixed drills and choreography?
-> The intensives always focus more on technique, skill building and very specific acrobatic concepts. Still, a safe learning space is guaranteed and especially one where participants have plenty of time to tinker with the material.
Will there be materials to study after the workshop?
-> Yes. Participants will receive a summary with selected videos, texts, playlists, and other resources from the day. Not all workshop content will be recorded – only chosen parts are shared for personal use and respectful study. (Das wäre geil auch zu erwähnen wie bei den programmen wo oben kleine icons sind mit: instant delivery after purchase blabla)
I’ve participated in a workshop in the past, will I learn something new here?
-> Past participants don’t need to worry about material repetition – the workshop is regularly revisited and updated.

I’ve attended two of Nil’s workshops over the years, and both were amazing in their own way. I’d highly recommend them to any mover, whether you’re an experienced dancer or just starting to explore new, playful ways of moving.
I’ve attended several of Nil’s workshops, and I absolutely loved them! The structure is perfectly balanced: there’s a focus on learning skills and techniques (Nil is an excellent teacher!) while also plenty of room for exploration and improvisation, inspired by Nil’s own practice.
Nil brings a sense of joy, play and personal experimentation into his workshops. It is cool to see how he works with the group weaving in unique ideas that meet everyone in the moment.
Training with Nil is pure joy and a great experience. I had the opportunity to participate in several of Nil's workshops and intensives, each of which was a turning point in my movement practice.
Last year we had the privilege of hosting Nil for his workshop at Movement Amsterdam. Nil is such an easy-going and relaxed guy. Genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve had the pleasure to work with.
It’s always such a pleasure to be a part of Nils’s workshops. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, with practitioners of all levels eager to help and support one another.
For my 40ties Birthday my family made me the best present I could imagine. They signed me up for Nils "five days intensive“ Workshop in Munich. After this I signed myself up for more … and more to come!
