Joint Acrobatic Lab 2 Day Workshop in Milano
For all levels
The Joint Acro Lab is the first collaboration between Davide Bonetti and Nil Teisner — two experienced movers and acrobatics researchers joining forces to create a space where technique meets creativity.
This open-level weekend workshop offers a unique interface for working with acrobatics in a playful and explorative way. Through arching moves, rolls and falls, smooth transitions, hybrid forms and guided jams, participants will develop skills while learning how to connect them into continuous, expressive flow. Alongside technical drills and partner work, we introduce concepts and frames that encourage improvisation, individual research, and embodied understanding.
Rather than focusing on shapes alone, we explore how movement transforms — how momentum can be redirected, how skills can merge, and how structure can give rise to freedom.
Expect two days of joyful moving, skill-building, creative exploration, and playful acrobatics — where technique becomes alive and flow begins to emerge.
While this workshop is open level, we highly encourage people to sign up only with a proficient movement base – not particular acro skills but a good understanding of moving the body, especially for longer periods of time. Advanced movers WILL receive plenty of challenges in this event as well.

What experience do I need to join this workshop?
-> No prior acrobatic experience is needed – just an active movement practice of any kind. Be ready to move for several hours and stay open to new experiences. As a seasoned mover, you’ll still discover new challenges, as the level is always adapted individually.
Will the workshop mainly focus on techniques or fixed drills and choreography?
-> The workshop uses a wide range of methods – from learning specific skills and related strength or mobility work, to partner exercises for dynamic application and spotting, to creating combinations and exploring freely with the material. The learning process of each participant is the main focus, with a safe space provided for everyone to practice at their own pace.
As a student/artist I can not afford this price. Are there any discounts available?
-> Yes, we do offer discounts for participants with less financial support. Please simply contact us via the contact formular and we'll sort it out!
Will there be materials to study after the workshop?
-> Yes. Participants will receive a summary with selected videos, texts, playlists, and other resources from the day. Not all workshop content will be recorded – only chosen parts are shared for personal use and respectful study.
I’ve participated in a workshop in the past, will I learn something new here?
-> Past participants don’t need to worry about material repetition – the workshop is regularly revisited and updated.

I’ve attended two of Nil’s workshops over the years, and both were amazing in their own way. I’d highly recommend them to any mover, whether you’re an experienced dancer or just starting to explore new, playful ways of moving.
I’ve attended several of Nil’s workshops, and I absolutely loved them! The structure is perfectly balanced: there’s a focus on learning skills and techniques (Nil is an excellent teacher!) while also plenty of room for exploration and improvisation, inspired by Nil’s own practice.
Nil brings a sense of joy, play and personal experimentation into his workshops. It is cool to see how he works with the group weaving in unique ideas that meet everyone in the moment.
Training with Nil is pure joy and a great experience. I had the opportunity to participate in several of Nil's workshops and intensives, each of which was a turning point in my movement practice.
Last year we had the privilege of hosting Nil for his workshop at Movement Amsterdam. Nil is such an easy-going and relaxed guy. Genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve had the pleasure to work with.
It’s always such a pleasure to be a part of Nils’s workshops. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, with practitioners of all levels eager to help and support one another.
For my 40ties Birthday my family made me the best present I could imagine. They signed me up for Nils "five days intensive“ Workshop in Munich. After this I signed myself up for more … and more to come!
